Imitation of Customer Service

Introduction

Scammers pretend to be from the customer service or technical support team of a platform and claim to be helping you resolve an issue. However, their real aim is to obtain your personal information, password or money.

Prevention

Always be vigilant and don't easily trust friend requests from persons claiming to be from customer service. Contact customer service via official channels only, such as using the contact information provided on the company's official website. Don't share any sensitive information, such as password, account number or credit card information to any unverified customer service personnel.
